THE US GETS THE MESSAGE: BE-ENTERTAINMENT AND BANIJAY STUDIOS NORTH AMERICA TEAM UP ON ‘DID YOU GET THE MESSAGE?’

Be-Entertainment has joined forces with Banijay Studios North America in the US to bring the highly-anticipated new hidden camera comedy ‘Did You Get the Message’ to the US. The deal comes right on the heels of a license deal with VOX for Germany, which took place just one week after the show’s debut on VTM in Belgium last month.

International distribution of the format is being handled by Be-Entertainment, the recently established international distribution arm of MEDIALAAN in Belgium. Says Be-Entertainment MD Gepke Nederlof, who just finalized the US deal with David Goldberg, CEO of Banijay Studios North America: “We’re excited at the prospect of teaming up with BSNA to introduce this great new format to the US. David’s experience in bringing big titles to the US market, combined with the fresh new take on the candid camera genre, add up to a strong combination.”

The new hidden camera show from Tim van Aelst, whose formats include the high profile ‘Benidorm Bastards’, offers an exciting new approach on the best way to get a message across so there’s no chance of it being forgotten. All of the messages are easy to adapt in other countries, as those featured on the Belgian show are universal and readily recognizable.
