Second series for 'Make Holland Great Again'

BNNVARA and NPO in the Netherlands are scheduled to launch a second series of ‘Make Holland Great Again’. The second series will start Wednesday September 9th on NPO3.

The format, originally created and launched in Belgium, features missions designed to make one’s country just a bit greater. After two high-rated seasons on VTM, the brand is now so strong in Belgium that it’s providing an opportunity to react to current affairs. At this time, online is even leading in order to use the momentum to react to developments in the society, making the linear broadcast of the missions of secondary importance.

Says Be-Entertainment MD Gepke Nederlof, “The format is so suitable for these times in which Covid 19 is showing the world that we can be kind to one another. Despite the global challenges we’re facing, warm initiatives are emerging on a daily basis to make the world a bit better.” Nederlof is seeing an increasing amount of interest in the format, with several countries currently negotiating a local series.
