SECOND DUTCH SERIES OF ‘GREETINGS FROM 19XX’ IN THE WORKS

RTL4 in the Netherlands has ordered a second series of ‘Greetings from 19xx’. The seven- episode series is currently being produced by Fabiola.

The factual entertainment format, which sees one celebrity family per episode experience a family weekend as though it took place in the year the celeb was 12 years old, has been a solid success in both the Netherlands and Belgium. After two highly successful seasons on VTM in Belgium, with market shares up to 50% in the 18-44 target, a third series is now in production.

In Scandinavia, ‘Greetings from 19xx’ just finished its first season on TV4 in Sweden. A 27,9% average market share over the series resulted in a 20% boost above the channel’s slot average. And in Denmark, the first season of ‘Greetings from 19xx’ will launch on TV2 this Fall.

Lecter Media is distributing the format in cooperation with Be-Entertainment.
