INTERNATIONAL EMMY NOMINATION FOR ‘DID YOU GET THE MESSAGE?’
After receiving the C21 award for best comedy format at MIPTV and a Gold Award at the World Media Festival in Hamburg, the Belgian hit show ‘Did You Get the Message?’ has now been nominated for an International Emmy in the category Non-Scripted Entertainment. The International Emmy Awards, to be presented by The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences on November 19th in New York, is one of the most prestigious award events in the world.
‘Did You Get the Message’, which offers a fresh take on the best way to get a message across so there’s no chance of it being forgotten, is not only successful with juries. A second series is currently in production in Belgium and will air on VTM this fall. In addition, eight international production deals have thus far been finalized, including pacts with the US and the UK. A first series for VOX in Germany was recorded this past summer.
The feel-good program was created and produced by Antwerp-based Shelter Productions, which previously garnered International Emmy Awards for the mischievous hidden camera program ‘Benidorm Bastards’ and the sketch show ‘What If?’
