‘THE WAY OUT’ FINDS THEIR WAY TO A SECOND SERIES
The smash-hit format ‘The Way Out,’ produced by Roses are Blue has been commissioned for a second series on VTM in Belgium. The commission was confirmed well before the broadcast of the last episode of the first series.
The show already launched strong with an impressive 37.2% market share in the 18-44 target (an increase of 65% vs the channel average market share YTD of 22,6%). In the meantime, the live +7 numbers of the first 6 episodes even increased the program average to 43% in the same target, almost doubling the year to date channel average market share of 23,3% (live +7, 18-44). Extra impressive when considering that more than half of these episodes were programmed against Belgian Champions League matches.
On each episode of the show, two different celebrity duos are sent into a room full of mysteries to be solved. Their quest? To figure out the scientific experiments, unravel the codes and find their way out first. To make each experiment especially engaging for the viewers, an expert is always on hand in the studio to offer his interesting insights and expertise. The show features a different adventure room theme every week, providing for a variety of insights and great entertainment delivering ultimate family entertainment.
